Archive
The international archives of the Women's Memories project can be found in Gender Studies, o.p.s. in Prague. All interviews transcriptions are saved in their electronic version as well as filed in the print one; original recordings are stored on tapes or CDs in archives of the respective national teams. Each interview is accompanied by additional materials: biogramme, protocol, resume, and list of entries - we intend these were translated in German and/or English but again, we face lack of financial means.
The archives will be gradually open up to professionals, students and people interested as it depends on the national teams providing their materials, i.e. finishing the collection phase of the project. In autumn 2003, we expect the digitalization of the material sets be introduced.
All further project outcomes are also archived - publications, articles, studies regarding: - historical context, - legislation relevant to women's and gender issues, - statistics and demographic data, - historical discourse on women's issues, - profile of the largest women's magazine and the way it portrayed and reflected women.
